
Contribution to Community
It is important to give back to the community that has allowed us to prosper. At Micro-Tech U.S.A., we strongly encourage employees to be involved in volunteer community projects. Employees of Micro-Tech U.S.A. have been involved in the following organizations either a as a group or an individual:
1. Silk Road Theatre Project: The Silk Road theatre Project is a not-for-profit theatre that presents playwrights and actors of the Silk Road. Employees of Micro-Tech U.S.A. have worked as the Executive Director for many performances.
2. YMCA: Micro-Tech U.S.A. has worked with children on after school home work assignments & tutoring programs to help children to achieve their academic goals.
3. Chicago Food Depository: As a Marketing Representative, Micro-Tech U.S.A. has worked to raise awareness of the Hunger Walk in the greater Chicago Community.
4. Volunteers of America: Micro-Tech U.S.A. has worked with battered children to provide hope for the future through Volunteers of America.
5. Conciliation and Arbitration Board: Worked with couples and business partners around Chicagoland to settle differences and create solutions to their arguments.
6. Economic Planning Board: Provide help and support to fresh immigrants; help them find employment and education to create a sustainable environment for their family.
7. Critical Learning Center: Provide trained facilitators for summer critical learning classes for students ranging from 1st to 8th grade.
8. Partnership Walk: As an Ambassador and Volunteer for Partnership Walk, an annual event that takes place in 5 major U.S. cities nationwide and raises funds and awareness to fight global poverty, Micro-Tech U.S.A. has worked to get one step closer to alleviating global poverty.
