Systems Field Engineer  

Micro-Tech U.S.A., a Chicago Loop based information technology service firm, is expanding its staff.  W e are looking to add a high-end IT Engineer with the following qualifications:

Candidates must have minimum of 5+ years experience working in an IT service company (must have serviced client’s on-site majority of the time).

Qualified candidates must have strong technical knowledge and practical field experience in client server network, design, management & troubleshooting.

Work required will include the physical survey of existing servers (HW/OS/Apps). The design and engineering of a new, standardized server configuration for Windows 2000/Active Directory, Ms-Exchange Server, consolidation and deployment of the new server network.

Must be a fast learner so that he can implement new technologies as well, and be able to work independently.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to adequately communicate with the clients as well as internally.

Experience with a variety of operating systems protocols and tools, depending on the type of platform or application to be administered. (Win NT, W2K, W2K3, Ms-Exchange Server, SQL)

Ability to multi-task and handle multiple clients at the same time.

Must have at least 4 of the following 7 skill sets.

  • Windows NT4.x/2000/2003 Server
  • Veritas Backup or ArcServ Backup
  • Windows Terminal Services
  • Citrix Metaframe Xpe
  • Windows 200x Clustering
  • Microsoft Exchange 200x and migration from exchange 5.5 to 200x
  • MS-SQL or VFP Database Management

Certifications:  Microsoft Certified Service Engineer (MCSE 2000 required) and Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA preferred).


Technology Consultant  

Micro-Tech USA is a full cycle IT Solution provider located downtown Chicago and provides end-to-end information technology solutions to small and medium businesses for the past 15 years.  

Our capabilities include: IT outsourcing, network design and implementation, Voice over IP Telephony, Accounting Technology, CRM & Ecommerce Solutions, Security and Wireless and document management solutions. We focus primarily on Microsoft & Citrix technologies. Some of our other partners include ACCPAC, IBM, HP, Compaq, Altigen and Wyse.

We are actively looking for a Business Developer / Account Manager with highly successful track record and extensive experience in selling business solutions and Network Management Services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must have proven track record for developing business leads with existing and new clients along with contract negotiations.
  • 3 - 5 years selling IT solutions required; demonstrated success in strategic solution selling to SMB Market.
  • Cold calling experience is a must.
  • Ability to sell independently without the help of a sales engineer 80% of the time.
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy level and motivation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills a must.
  • Local candidates only.

Appointment-Setter (Part-time/Flexible Schedule) 

We are seeking energetic and dependable Appointment-Setters. The Appointment-Setter will be responsible for setting appointments and gaining information from prospects and potential customers for follow-up by our direct sales team.

The Appointment-Setter’s responsibilities will be to:

  • Spend 80% of their time on the telephone sourcing prospects and setting appointments for the direct sales team.
  • Perform campaign-driven outbound calling.
  • Follow up with prospects in the form of e-mail communication or mailing of marketing material.
  • Conduct phone-based research on target accounts.
  • Record all results in the company's CRM system

The qualified candidate will have:

  • At least 6 months of experience in appointment setting, inside sales, and/or telemarketing.
  • Confidence in their cold calling skills.
  • Outstanding phone presence.
  • The ability to prove a successful track record.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
